About Roland Hathway

I have developed a deep and broad comprehension of the life challenges we all face. My training and experience in holistic bodywork, addiction recovery, community mental health and private practice have shown me what it takes to move from suffering to healing to thriving. I continually find it exciting and rewarding to be involved in this pursuit with clients.

Indispensably, I bring my own long-term dedication to personal growth, academic training and spiritual exploration. Over the last 20 years, the inner work I have done through therapy, recovery, and spiritual practice has become a primary asset in my practice of counseling and psychotherapy.

I received my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California. What drew me to this school is the holistic, inclusive and integrative approach it offers - one that honors the blending of contemplative, spiritually-minded Eastern traditions with more active and practical Western philosophies of healing.

LICENSURE: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through the State of Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (#C2048).

CREDENTIAL: National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS: American Counseling Association (ACA). Oregon Mental Health Associates (OMHA).
